YEE HAW! - (Questions that need discussion!)
PHASHU IN GENERAL:
-What's the extent of Phashu invulnerability? Are we going with catastrophic nervous system damage=death? I'm assuming head chopped off=death? What about nonvital organ removal? Would a chopped-off hand regrow? What about burning? Can they go into shock? Vulnerable to BRAIN/SPINAL/NERVOUS SYSTEM damage. Suffocation takes much longer. Other?
-How does Phashu age affect resilience? Is an older Phashu able to heal from worse damage than a young one, or do they just heal faster?
-Does the age at which a Phashu was turned have any effect on their physiology/demeanor/ability to adapt?
-At what range can a master sense a bound fledgling? Does this awareness vanish when they become independent?
-We know a fledgling (Quo) can at least partially 'hide' from their master, given enough mental discipline. Can a master block out awareness of their bound fledglings? Would a master with a LOT of bound fledglings get a little mentally overwhelmed?
-Related to the above, is a master's general awareness of their fledgling voluntary or involuntary? Not necessarily 'mind-reading', but if their fledgling is within sensing range, will they automatically know, or do they have to be in 'search' mode?
-Does a master retain ANY link with their unbound fledglings? Ryezick/Nyceen is really the only example we have. Do they lose mind zap/brain scan/telepathy/hypnosis/etc? Does strength of the bond enter into it at all?
-Does time spent as a fledgling have any effect on future development? I think I suggested in the redtext document that a fledgling was bound for a long time would start getting antsy to be unbound, but what would happen if a Phashu was turned and then made independent, like RIGHT AWAY?
-Would a Phashu gain any nutrition from a person with anemia/iron deficiency/other disease of the blood? I'm guessing probably no but? Or is that a little too in depth for no reason?
-Do all Phashu just have no sex drive? Or do they? Does their body just stop putting out 'make babies' hormones because the reproductive system is shut down, but some still have the desire for physical intimacy? Obviously doing the do with mortals is a bad call because of what happened to Ephidell (I'm assuming that if other Phashu were in a similar situation, the same outcome would result)
-On that note, are Phashu even capable of forming anything more than a casual friendship with a mortal without their hunger drive kicking in and urging them to drink their blood?
-Do mutants still have a bond with their master after they mutate? Are they automatically independent? Could a stable mutant create fledglings?
-How do mutants mutate? Is trying to create a Phashu that's already related by blood the only way?
-WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THE GODDAMN TATTOOS ARE WE JUST NEVER GOING TO EXPLAIN THAT OR WHAT

SPECIFIC CHARACTERS:
-Is anyone EVER going to find out that Vera is Ivy's child?? Did anyone ever know in the first place? Does anyone know now other than Harp and Vera? To the extent that Vera knows anything.
-Wait, does Ryezick know he's related to Ivy?? I can't remember??
-Did we nail down how Mhirou is special or what? Are we going to go with the 'more Phashu-->more human-->more Phashu' cycle I suggested in redtext doc or do we have some other ideas?
-What the fuck are the specifics of Ryezick's world domination plan?
-On the note of Ryezick and his plans...what are his plans AT FIRST and how do they change LATER? I'm assuming that there is a fairly dramatic change somewhere along the line, at least I think we talked about that. Is there a specific 'breaking point' where Ryezick becomes the primary antagonist, and if so, why?
-Does Ryezick have any fledglings that he made independent, but then got disillusioned with his morals or methods or whatever and just LEFT him? Would he have no way to track them if that happened? Essentially what I'm getting at is just wondering if there are other independent Phashu in the wild that aren't 'Team Ryezick' or 'Team Ephidell' (Other than Nash I guess)
-How many fledglings does Ryezick have? What's the ratio of bound:unbound fledglings and how many people does he have at his science base? How does he FEED them all??
-What kind of research/work does Nevi do for Ryezick? How often does she see him?
-How did Nevi meet Ryezick?
-How often does Samira see Ryezick? It's been years at least, I'm assuming he's checked up on her occasionally to do the 'loyalty check' or whatever, but he's a busy guy. He's left the raising of Samira to Nevi--is he disappointed/whatever that Samira is turning out to be...not loyal to him? Okay I guess Ryezick doesn't give a damn
-What the dink is Nyceen's deal? How did she meet Ryezick/what is her function in the organization now/why is she so super loyal/what the FUCK IS EVEN HER PERSONALITY?
-What's the deal with Quo's childhood? Her mom was abusive, but how specifically? Worked her to death? Hit her?
-What exactly is Quo up to, after she gets turned at has her falling-out with Ephidell? What does she do? What is her pressing reason for hanging around in the same town as him despite despising him and going out of her way to avoid him?
-Also, IS Wynsiphe the same town Quo grew up in or was that a different one? Is Wynsiphe ANYONE'S hometown?
-How did Quo hook up with Harp and why is she working with him?
-Adrian, what the fuck
-The deal with Harp and his motivations. Maybe somewhere, in his messed up mind, he thinks that Phashu are wrong and need to be exterminated. Was he trying to 'use' Vera to further this goal? This whole time everyone thought he was trying to eliminate threats to Vera, because he's crazy, but he's actually trying to KILL HER. It's just so hard to kill her because she's so unstable she's practically unstoppable when threatened. He knows Mhirou's blood would have taken her remaining humanity away and mutated even MORE that she would be monster mode all the time.
-How could Harp possibly know that? Does he know Mhirou is related to Ivy?
-Is Mhirou weakened/hurt by/vulnerable to her blood when she's in 'mortal mode'? Maybe Mhirou is immune to the 'mortal blood' weakness! Because of her weirdness. Maybe other Phashu start looking up to her because she is more mortal/ has morals. lol becoming a symbol or whatever? She just wants to get by and maybe they admire her for that, EXPAND ON THIS LATER after we finish the Vera arc
-Nyceen, not Ryezick's first fledgling. Maybe Nevi is older than her?
-Nevi would remain loyal to Ryezick, Samira obviously doesn't like Ryezick but would split off from Nevi too if Nevi was going down the dark path with Ryezick. Would she necessarily go 'team Ephidell' though? I don't know.
-Why exactly is Vera so attracted to Mhirou?

PLOT HAPPENINGS/SCENES:
-How long is the road trip/Mhirou with Ryezick segment going to last exactly? Think of some other fun things and happenings to break that up with. (Other than Ephidell gets one lesson, Samira gets one lesson, okay done move on)
-Is Nevi during that whole span of time just up there chilling with Mhirou and Ryezick and the crew? She's incommunicado with Samira, but what is she DOING?
-What are the specifics of what Ryezick DOES with Mhirou? Does he at least extend her some hospitality before they start with the experiments or whatever?
-Is Ephidell going to try to swear Samira to secrecy after the scene in the bar where Mhirou turns out to be even stranger than they thought? (Obviously her first instict is going to be to GO FOR THE PHONE AND CALL NEVI???)
-How is Ryezick & Company able to contain and transport Vera safely?
-The time Mhirou spends in her new Mansion would be an excellent time for some character development from 'acted upon' to 'someone who acts' by which I mean it's high time for her to grab the reins of her life and stop laying down and getting steamrolled by literally fucking everyone.

MISCELLANEOUS BULLSHIT:
-Are there more mutants in existence now than Harp Vera and nameless Ryezick fledgling?
-Possible titles for this beast other than 'Phashu Plot'? Think on it! Bloodbound was my only decent idea, I'll try to think of something else
I think the word "ambrosia" is really interesting, just because in Greek it translates to "immortality, food of the gods" which is fun and interesting.
It's hard not to add "blood" in the name but I feel like we should stay away from that. Branch out. It's too easy. Hmm. I don't think we should force a name out of this. It will come eventually. It's just hard because there is no one idea or place or central THING this story centers around. Is that bad? Should it be more clear? Okay now I'm just getting ahead of myself, haha.
Yeah I guess that's fair, that it doesn't have to say 'blood', but I only suggested that because pretty much every plot point and character interaction so far has revolved around some blood tie or another. Ambrosia is cool too, even if that doesn't necessarily tie in to everything either, lol
It is kind of problematic story-wise that there isn't really an overarching theme other than 'Phashu are a thing that exist'. (This is pretty understandable considering we didn't even start thinking about hammering out the basics of the plot until like...chapter 7 and it was a ROLEPLAY what do you expect) 'Fish out of water' is as close to a story type as we get in the beginning (Mhirou being the fish, obviously) but then things get a little more fuzzy later, considering that....NO ONE really has an explicit goal they are working towards other than Ryezick and possibly Harp. 'just tryin' to get by' isn't interesting enough to base this monster of a story on, considering there are so many apathetic main characters. TOO many, probably.
-This might be me getting EVEN FURTHER AHEAD OF MYSELF THAN YOU, but once this is set up, how is it going to be organized? Is it going to be set up like a novel (one main goal in sight, everything works towards that goal) or like a comic, with several distinct 'arcs'? As of right now, the second choice seems to work better. (And also lends itself better to adding things on!) We have two that are obvious--the 'Vera arc' (from her introduction up to and including her eventual destruction, I assume) and the 'Ryezick arc' (from his introduction to Harp, up until...well we haven't gotten too far into his stuff yet, but I'm gonna assume again this would include his dealings with Mhirou, some sort of conflict with Ephidell, and his change from 'affably evil' to 'actively menacing and an actual goddamn problem') There's some overlap between the two, which I think is pretty cool (ex. Ryezick is established and doing things before he is plot central)
The problem with this is that Vera wasn't even introduced until almost halfway through the original roleplay. So if we're doing arcs, then we either need to introduce Vera earlier, or retrofit the earlier chapters to include more of Mhirou before and during her early days with Ephidell (and make an arc out of that somehow). And decide if there's going to be an arc after the Ryezick arc (Not that he has to be dead, just not necessarily at peak menacingness) and how to work it in. PLOT STUFF!
-Did anything wind up happening with Nevi's Mhirou Blood experiment?
-How is Mhirou still special/unique? Mhirou's blood cycle thing makes Mhirou's blood 'mortal' every 3-4 months or whatever and Ephidell wants to drink her blood and Mhirou is like god DAMN not this shit again! So then there's that weirdness. And Mhirou's blood is still special.
-Are there going to be more human side characters/human MAIN characters possibly? If so, how would we work them in?
-What's the deal with the Phashu 'language'? Is it still even a thing? Is it even really a language? Did Ivy invent it? Or did she pick it up from somewhere else, and if that's the case, why doesn't anyone else speak it but Phashu? Do Phashu even speak it anymore, or did they ever? Was it ever used for ANYTHING other than naming people? We know Ryezick knows about it, how much does he know? Is there a Phashu linguist that's in charge of compiling and expanding on it?
-Is the existence of the 'underground bases'/caves/river thing in Wynsiphe ever going to be plot relevant beyond the convenience of the YMCA/tunnel out of the clock tower? Or is there some other reasoning entirely behind the 'no basements' thing. Cause I'm not an architect and I had no idea what I was talking about, it just sounded cool, and I have no idea if it's even realistic or we could think of a better reason.
